Audio Received by Squatchdetective.com February 2008

The following three tracks represent the best of eight tracks received by Squatchdetective.com in February 2008. Squatchdetective.com will be conducting an on location visit to the area in April and will update this page as soon as more information becomes available.

Filtering and enhancements courtesy of Squatchdetective.com Audio Analyst DB Donlon. Although we cannot say with certainty these vocalizations were made by a Sasquatch, they certainly are interesting and worth a good listen to. Here's what DB had to say about the vocalizations:

 

 

 

 

 

 

Here's my first take at filtering Vocalization 2.  I spent some time trying to even out the EQ on the mp3s before I even did any noise reduction.  I think it paid off a little, because you can now get a sense of how low the voice of the growling guy is. 

 It sounds to me like the East Central Ohio Chatter type vocalization.  Before I did the filtering, I couldn't tell what was going on in there.  I thought it might be dog barks, but now I'm pretty sure it isn't that.

You can hear what sounds like handling noise of the baby monitor.  Also, it looks as if the barking, grunting guy is making noises as low as 50Hz.  Not a raccoon or any other small animal if that's the case."
