"First of all I'd like to thank all the folks who chose me these awards, and to the SSA for including me in their poll. I'd also like to congratulate all the other winners as well, such as Todd Partain, Loren Coleman and Jeff Meldrum whom serve as inspiration to Cryptozoologists and Bigfooters across the world. I hope I too can live up to that expectation.

As many of my personal friends know, most of 2007 was a horrible year for me personally, but I tried my best to rise from the ashes like a Phoenix. In receiving this award it vindicates myself, my direction and my attitudes in Bigfooting, Squatching or whatever you'd like to call it. People who know me, understand what I do in this field is not personal, but I do tend to call things as I see them, and if I seem harsh at times, it is never my intention, it's PASSION. I still believe we must ALL come together to solve this mystery, which I believe may now be in our grasp within the next two decades. Give or take a decade or two, of course...because who knows?

As an added bonus, my Radio Show, Squatchdetective Radio was bestowed the SSA 2007 Show of the Year, and I have a big thank you to Billy Willard for that. The man is my true friend and professional and it is HIS award as much as it should be considered mine. So congratulations Billy!

I also was bestowed with the honor of being the Host of the Year as well...well again I couldn't have done it without the efforts of my co-host Billy Willard...so I will insist on sharing the stage for that one as well.
