The stark reality is the reason why mainstream science has not embraced the Bigfoot mystery, is because it is out of most scientist mores, to have something you cannot explain. So therefore every sighting has an explanation, via misidentification, misidentification, misidentification. In reality when a scientist skeptic who comes out and says, "It was a misidentification," without interviewing the witness, being on scene, is not being scientific at all and is not fostering a scientific explanation but rather an opinion of a simple man or woman, which has no greater bearing than your or mine. Remember that. Just because a PhD tells me I am wrong, when I know the previous, does not intimidate me, nor dissuade me from my pursuit.
In reality what has dissuaded myself a lot of times in my pursuit has been the field itself, between the folks whom "talk to Bigfoot," or see the hairy guy "teleport," or the folks that have got Bigfoot on the brain a little too much, where "everything that goes bump in the night," is Bigfoot, or the folks that level charges or offer opinions that were based on other peoples opinions which they state as facts, but are wrong facts. I have learned however, finding my inner peace, to ignore this and let my actions and thoughts, speak for themselves. I have no malfeasance towards the other theories, because they are probably just trying to do their best, however I won't subscribe to such theories, because to me they're an excuse, for not getting the evidence, mainstream science is dictating they need.
Too often there are too many researchers to look at a tree twist and rock stack, or a dark spot on a photo and say...it's Bigfoot. That's wrong!
